Tour de France 2014

An honorary member of Devon cafes, due to their outstanding reputation, and cycle themed cakes in anticipation of the Tour de France Depart from Leeds ending in Harrogate.

Cream Tea

Lovely cafe right on the sea front in Torcross near Slapton Sands. Sitting outside in the spring sunshine give you views across to Blackpool Sands. Coffee is well priced, or if you have earnt it, go for the Devon Cream Tea. The owners are very friendly and always welcoming. Its a bit small inside so can be cramped on colder storms days.

Nice Cafe

The Avonmill Garden Centre is in a great spot near Gara Bridge on the river Avon. There is good selection of homemade cakes and good coffee, with several sheltered and sunny spots to site outside and in. Deli style cafe

Used as a lunch stop on the Tour of Britain 2013 finish on Haytor, Ullacombe Farm Cafe offered a great refuge from the crowds. There was plenty of space outside to park the bikes and sit to enjoy a group meal. The food and coffee on offer is great quality farm/deli style. Ullacombe Farm Cafe
